Would you buy this car again? YES
A very good car with a few downfalls. Wonderful for taking off-road in the high country and plenty of room to put all our camping gear.
Handled nicely in the dirt and down rough hill tracks, but sometimes feels a bit light in the back end when on the bitumen.
It can be unreliable and we have had it break down when we were travelling on the other side of the country. This was one of several issues with the transmission, but they were thankfully sorted by ford.
It has a good fuel economy and, apart from the seats, is comfortable to drive. The back seat has ample feet room and unless you tried to fill all three seats with large grown men, you wouldn’t feel cramped.
The interior plastics could have been made a bit stronger and more wear and tear resistant, but they look nice and neat for the most part. The radio and Bluetooth system is easy to use and has good sound quality.
All the controls on the steering wheel make for easy control and the cruise control is wonderful. Sometimes the automatic gear changes feel a bit rough, but the car takes off nicely and has a good amount of power.
